Short benched Revolution scored first on a shot from the point 2 minutes in. Knights then scored twice led by Asif to take the lead. Revolution got a lucky bounce as Jim White scored in his own net. Team in yellow and blue then took the lead on the powerplay.
Knights second half came out all over the Revolution but could not fill the net. Gur "The Tank" Randhawa had a breakway on a gorgeous pass from Gary Ball but could not beat goalie and continue's his goal scoring drought. With 4 minutes left down 2 goals Knights got a powerplay but could not finish. Knights went 0-6 vs A Division opponents and will start B Division round next week.
On the injury front Gary Bal popped his hamstring and is expected to miss 1-2 weeks. Knights management has signed 2 free agents to add more grit and speed Mandeep Kaila and Sean Phair.

The Revolution came into this game with two subs on their bench compared to the three lines that the Knights had on theirs and still managed to outplay the dwindling Knights on this Sunday matinee. Revolution had a 3 - 1 lead going into the second half with the Knights playing them tough but the Knights couldn't keep up with the compete level that the Lution brought. Gary Bal was having his best shift of his ball hockey career when he went down like a sac of potatos and injured his hamstring muscle. The Knights had a chance on the powerplay to make it a closer game but could not convert on their chances. In the end the Revolution beat the Knights 6 -3. Ryan Bhala had this to say after the game, "the determination wasn't there tonight, no passion no f***ing hussle, nothing... if we're going to be successful guys like myself and others have to pick up our games and give it 100% every game.. no more bullshit we got playoffs on the line here so we HAVE to pick it up a notch starting next game against the NWO." The captain Gur "the tank' Randawa was unavailable for comment after the game because of losing his voice due to some heavy yelling at his players during the game! Defensman Mandy "heavy D" Parmar had this to say.." that was bullshit... me and Dan Ko on a two on nothing....where were the f***in forwards..thats f***in Bullshit!" The next game features the Knights vs the Nwo.. this game will be like playing another A Div team as the Nwo almost swept through the A teams losing only once to the Falcons 6-5. Another tough battle for the Knights on the horizon.
